The Risen Warrior

Saurus is built around an uninterruptible skill chain. War Strike and Burst Strikes each reset the other's cooldown when completed without interruption, creating an endless melee loop. Each uninterrupted skill completion stacks a permanent attack and defense buff on Saurus, shared in full to all allies. His phase form creates a duplicate that copies his abilities and triggers the same stacking mechanic, accelerating the ramp. At maximum stacks, he begins regenerating health every second, and each subsequent uninterrupted skill heals the entire team. He takes reduced damage while actively using his chained skills. The whole system is binary — if any skill gets interrupted, all stacks drop and the engine resets. Burst Strikes also deal percentage-based current health damage, giving him scaling against tanky targets.

Phase Form

Ultimate

Creates a phased duplicate that copies several of Saurus's abilities at reduced damage. Activating this also generates a shield that persists until the duplicate disappears.

War Strike

Active

AoE spear sweep hitting nearby enemies, then a heavy single-target strike that stuns the nearest enemy. Completing this attack without interruption resets Burst Strikes' cooldown.

Burst Strikes

Active

Multi-hit AoE attack hitting all enemies in range, dealing bonus damage based on each target's current health. Completing this without interruption resets War Strike's cooldown, enabling continuous attack chains.

Relentless

Passive

Each time Saurus or his phase form completes War Strike or Burst Strikes uninterrupted, his attack and defense ratings increase, stacking up to 5 times. All allies receive the full stat increase. Any skill interruption ends the effect.

Once Relentless reaches max stacks, Saurus regenerates health each second based on his attack rating. His allies also heal when War Strike or Burst Strikes are completed without interruption.

Enabling phase form creates a phased, ephemeral version of Saurus that copies several of Saurus’ abilities for 9 seconds, which deals 85% of the original Saurus’ damage value.

Saurus uses his spear to attack all nearby enemy targets for 170% AoE damage, after which he proceeds to attack the nearest enemy target, dealing a further 280% damage to them, also causing them to become stunned for 2 seconds. Successfully using this ability without any interruptions resets the cooldown timer of Saurus’ “Burst Strikes” skill.
